Paulette Bansal

Paulette Bansal is a Manchester based artist working primarily in the field of printmaking. She is a member at Hot Bed Press, where her education in printmaking began. This also led to the formation of Reveal Printmakers, a print collective that regularly exhibit together.

Paulette's practice is rooted in cataloguing and archiving and examines the unearthing of memories through inherited objects. She meticulously records marks and handwriting through drawing and intaglio printmaking techniques, in both an intuitive and ordered way, using etching, drypoint, carborundum, monotype and elements of collage in her work.
